According to the book "Butterflies are free to fly" by Stephen Davis, this world is a hologram. Nothing is real. So you can control anything that happens. Just like watching the TV, you can change to any channel!

I see that it doesn't matter what you call it, as long as you understand/realize that none of it is real. But then who is it that understands? It must be ego because when ego is stripped away, even temporarily, who we really are understands already, all that is needed to be understood. The book, Butterflies are free to fly, has cleared a lot of misunderstandings, along with Jed's trilogy.

My impression: It is the "value" that is holographic or mental. Even though there is some science to support facts and ideas regarding a holographic universe it is still only part of the base game all happening in the brain. Like playing the game of Monopoly. The base game is real, everything else is imagined through value assignments. The base pieces and parts of the game are provided by the game maker. We're calling the base game "life." Each player assigns value subjectively through emotional energy. Feelings and thoughts are provided for each of us as part of the base game activity. So they're real, but that's where a transition in consciousness takes place. These are not your feelings and thoughts although they are for You. You become aware of having these thoughts and feelings. The ones that are part of The experience one is meant to have. Then each player is free to react emotionally. There are many dimensions to the infinite number of emotional combinations. Each having a one of a kind genesis in experiential awareness. The bedrock of the hologram is emotion. There is no whole world as far as I can tell.

I need everyone to know that I am NOT the Administrator of this forum/discussion group. The post from "Admin" on December 21, 2017 at 7:07 PM is NOT mine. It is also not a correct summation of my book, "Butterflies Are Free to Fly." Yes, my book features physics experts (like Leonard Susskind) who say that we are living in a holographic universe. However, nowhere do I make the statement that "you can control anything that happens. Just like watching the TV, you can change to any channel!" In fact, the opposite is true. As Players, we do not create our holographic experiences... we have NO control over them... and you cannot change those experiences no matter what you do. The only thing you have control over is how you want to react or respond to the experiences you are given, and that's where your free will comes in. It is very much like Texas Hold'em poker.... you have no choice or control over the cards you are dealt. You only have a choice in how you want to play that hand. And like poker, you can learn to change your reaction to some shitty cards and come out of the hand a winner.
